Respite
This is where I come for some respite. For a time, early in the morning or when it has cooled down in the evening, I visit the garden. I take a look and start weeding where I last left off. I don't have to think about the dishes, the laundry or floors and I don't worry about the boys. At times they join me and ohh and ahh over the growing veggies and fruit. I enjoy it.

OOooohh, a garden! My wife and I join you in this interest. And yours looks as healthy as can be. No, seriously--that is a very good looking garden. You should be proud. Have you had some good harvests yet this year? My personal garden favorite is tomatos...
ReplyDeletewow. your garden is kicking my garden's butt.
ReplyDeleteWe've had peas and beans, zucchini and cucumbers. slowly but surely. I was so worried that things wouldn't come up so I really packed them in.
ReplyDeletemy beans all died. any tips??
ReplyDeleteI hear beans need a lot of water so I doused mine even in between when the sprinklers waters them. But I'm no expert;my brussel sprouts look like they're dead.
