is becoming more bearable now that the boys can do so much more on their own. That's not to play down all the work that Chris still does with them; there's plenty of untangling and setting up that happens. What lucky boys I have. And of course Vy caught the first and only fish. Big brother tried really hard not to be jealous and did a great job of being a good sport.
These pictures are unedited. I love the dark ones. So cool.

Hi Lucy,
ReplyDeleteWith reading you blog, I feel as though I know you...as though we've been friends for ages!
I came to your blog because of the recent discovery of my Thyroglossal Duct Cyst. I'm having a horrible time deciding what to do (surgery or no surgery) because of the implications the surgery presents to a seasoned singer. I'm 53 years old and my cyst is dangerously close (or even growing into) my vocal folds. My surgery is scheduled for Aug. first. I have an appointment for a second opinion scheduled next week, July 28th in Santa Clara.
Anyway, I know it's been years since your experience, but I'd like to hear from you, if at all possible. I know you're busy with the kids (such wonderful photos posted!!), but if you find a quiet moment, I'd be really grateful to hear from you.
Thank you in advance,
Dina
P.S. Another concern of mine is the recovery period. I'm a mother of 8 kids; the youngest is 10, the oldest 18.
